Valley Institute Elementary

On Tuesday April 4^th students at Valley Institute Elementary School had the opportunity to meet local author Beth Davis as she shared her collection of books about “Super YouNeek Beasts”.  Students met Lacinda the Lion, Mykal the Monkey, abnd Hanna the Hawk.  Each character encourages children of all shapes, sizes, and abilities to celebrate what makes them unique!  After reading all three books students had the opportunity to ask the author questions about how she started writing books and how they could one day become authors themselves.  Mrs. Davis signed books and had a wonderful time with all students from VIES!
